Current Hobby : Reading Yaoi Manga

Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you again. It's been a while since my last post, I'm so busy with my university life, too many assignments I should've finishing. This is my first ever English-language post on this blog. I decided to posting with English to knew how much my English has improved. You may find some bad grammar 'cause I'm suck at it, sorry. Let me know where's the problem. Today, I will share about my current "obsession"(whatever you called it). Ha, I'm really crazy right now lol. For you out there, who maybe still don't know about Yaoi, I'll tell you a bit. Yaoi also known as Boys Love, is one of Japanese manga genres which focusing on romantic and sexual relationship between two male characters or more, you can called it gay relationship aimed for female readers. Well, there's another genre which also about gay relationship it called shounen-ai. Shounen-ai itself contains less sexual graphic unlike in yaoi, so if you prefer more on the story with less(almost none) sex scene you better read shounen-ai. The female fans called Fujoshi and male fans called Fudanshi. In Yaoi, there is something called seme and uke. Seme is someone who's on top and uke who's on bottom or female role. Sometimes their role can be reverse. And FYI, there's another verse in yaoi called Omegaverse, so in that universe, male also can pregnant who known as omega. If you curious just search on google.

Now back to our main topic. I've been reading yaoi for 4 months now(not exactly tho), yes I'm still new in this world, so please take care of me, Senpai. I don't know why exactly I read yaoi in the first place. Well, I've known this genre since I was in high school but I don't like that kind of genre that time. Because what I thought was "ugh, gay! What the hell hahaha". Yeah, you know in my country it still taboo or you can called "inappropriate" for everyone and also everything about lgbt-related stuff are banned. My first yaoi, uhm I forgot. I think it's Super Lovers? or Vampire Library? Oh yeah maybe Vampire Library. That time I can't got with the story so I dropped it and I'm still lazy to read manga. And then my curiosity became uncontrollable after I watched Yuri!!! On Ice(that anime ruined my life), so I decide to find another manga on Google then I found Super Lovers but I'm not reading it yet 'cause the main character was still kid, I'm afraid it contains pedophile story. So few months later I decided to read it and then I'm became addicted to yaoi hahaha.

By now I've read over ±320 titles of yaoi manga and still counting! I read them almost everyday, everytime, everywhere. Whenever I have leisure time even in class I use it to read yaoi lol (God forgive me, I'm trully a sinner). What I'm looking for in yaoi are the story, art, and that hot scene hehehe. I love cute, heartwarming and bittersweet love stories with hot, cute, good-looking characters. My types of seme are protective and jealous easily but has the sweet-side(tsundere) and always makes the uke feels so loved, good-looking, smart, has a nice hair style (I prefer short hair), and tall. The uke is kind, cute with innocent smile, protective but not as much as the seme, good-looking too and like teasing the seme because I like jealousy seme so much, not dense or denying his feelings too much and has unpleasant past so the seme could protect him.

Yeah, that's some of chit chat about my current favorite "hobby". I appreciated you for reading this because I'm unable to find someone who have the same hobby as me and shared my thoughts about it.
